Our community brochure

The Bunya Mountains Bird brochure has been compiled and produced locally for the enjoyment of those wishing to identify birds likely to be seen on the Bunya Mountains. You are encouraged to place a tick in the boxes provided for the birds you see.

It was funded by the Bunya Mountains Natural History Association Inc with assistance from the former Lake Broadwater NHA. Members of the Bunya Mountains Community Association Inc provided production assistance.

Most of the photographs were provided by locals, while Birds Queensland provided technical advice and some photographs. Thank you to all who contributed.

Printed copies of the brochure are available in the community or you are able to download a copy from the link below.

This project was supported by the Australian Government’s Culture, Heritage and Arts Regional Tourism (CHART) Program.
