Community Street Library

The Bunya Mountains Community Association Inc (BMCAI) works to improve the livability of the Bunya Mountains for residents and the many holidaymakers and visitors to the Bunyas.  BMCAI determined that a Community Street Library would be an excellent asset for the village, enabling books and magazines to be shared and redistributed.  It was also felt that it would greatly benefit holidaymakers and visitors who forget their books or finish reading before the end of their holiday.

The Street Library was constructed and installed by members in October 2019. 

​

The Community Street Library is located at the General Store, Bunya Avenue, Bunya Mountains, Queensland 4405.

The Bunya Mountains Community Street Library is now registered with Street Libraries of Australia and you can read about it here...
